Isn´t she lovely, my “assistent” Ophelia with this night blue cloche?
The hat body comes from the 1960s and was a bit shabby because of the long storage. But never mind! Two pieces of vintage petersham and satin ribbon, a woven tape from the 1920s with irregular faded color and a golden 1950s embellishment, that looks much older- and the shabby look is gone!
I love to work with vintage hat bodys or used hats and turn them in something complete different. That´s recycling in a way, I really have fun with.
